I love being behind the camera more than anything else. I truly feel I was born to be a visual storyteller.

Production Resume

I Have Always Been a Storyteller:

I have worked with actors of all ages on the stage, big screen, and small.  Because I started acting at a very young age, I truly believe that my formative years were defined by performing.  When I realized my skill for bringing actors to emotional states and my ability to involve everyone in the collaborative process, my sights turned towards directing and then teaching and coaching.

I have studied and used the techniques of Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg, Sanford Meisner, Uta Hagen, Constantin Stanislavski, Anne Bogart, and Viola Spolin.  All of this training has morphed into my own unique style of teaching and directing that caters to every actor’s specific needs.  I hold a BFA in Performance with a Directing Concentration from the University of Michigan, studied at the Lee Starsberg Institute in New York, and am a Director Member of the famed Actor’s Studio.

Past teaching experience includes The Columbia Gorge School of Theatre, Lee Strasberg Institute, New York Film Academy, SOCAPA, Alexia Robinson Studio, and a special Acting for Film course in Salerno, Italy.  In addition, I coach actors privately for auditions and to further their training.

My feature film debut, Desertion, took home the top feature award at the Valley Film Festival and is currently available on Amazon.  In addition to the narrative form, I have also worked for many years filming weddings, live bands, music videos, stage plays, and various documentary style projects for creatives throughout Los Angeles, including Ice T and the making of his album, Black Ice, Urban Legends.  I am currently working on getting my next feature film into production.

My other passion is helping parents to document their family's stories with my company, Video Baby Books.
